Built around the Mara River crossings. You spend four nights in a private conservancy, with a balloon flight and a day at the river with a guide who reads the herds.

  1. Day 01

    Nairobi arrival

    Meet at JKIA, transfer to a garden hotel in Karen, and a briefing over dinner.

  2. Day 02

    Lake Nakuru

    Drive down the Rift Valley escarpment. Afternoon rhino and flamingo drive.

  3. Day 03

    Into the Mara

    Overland through Narok to a private conservancy camp. Sundowner drive.

  4. Day 04–05

    River days

    Full days at the Mara River crossing points, with picnic lunches and patient waiting.

  5. Day 06

    Balloon at dawn

    Lift off before sunrise, champagne breakfast on the plains, then a walking safari.

  6. Day 07

    Fly out

    Light aircraft back to Wilson Airport in time for international connections.

Big tuskers in front of Africa's highest peak, then south into Tsavo's red-earth country. You ride the SGR train back to Nairobi.
